Introduction

Well, first of all you probably want to know who and what I am.

I am currently studying Library and Information Science with the intention of becoming a librarian. This is my first time living in a large city i.e. Toronto and as a child of suburbia I am finding it truly fascinating. The number of cultural activities and institutions accessible to me is astounding, but even more impressive is the number of libraries - I think I must be in Heaven!!

Not only is this my first time in a large urban centre, but this also the first time I will regularly be posting on a blog. Although I am setting this up as part of a course assignment, I hope to continue posting faithfully after the course requirements have been completed.
